What is Hootsuite?
Hootsuite is a social media management tool that lets you manage all your social media accounts in one place. Hootsuite helps you in planning, scheduling, and managing social posts. Some of the key features include social media monitoring, automatic scheduling, monitoring performances and task management.
Why Hootsuite is useful?
You can save time by using Hootsuite for social media marketing. You can manage Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest from a single site than logging onto each platform separately and posting there one at a
time.
Here’s some features I like in Hootsuite:
1. Post Scheduling
Hootsuite enables you to schedule posts for all your social media channels. This feature makes it possible for you to develop a strong social media plan that incorporates important time when your posts are frequently seen and helps increase the number of followings.
You can also use Hootsuite’s automatic scheduling function and let its algorithm choose a timing for your posts based on your previous post engagements.
When you schedule posts, Hootsuite will display a calendar of your upcoming posts in your planner. This keeps things organized and enables you to quickly know what is coming next.
2. Assignments
Hootsuite allows users to assign tasks or items to different team members. Your social media team will be able to work on various projects from within the platform this way. For instance, in a scenario where a technical enquiry regarding your product is posted on a Twitter. You can send that along with a private message describing the situation to your IT Help desk. Since Hootsuite integrates with third-party platforms such as Asana and Salesforce, you can push assignments directly into your existing workflow.
3. Streams
Hootsuite’s ‘Stream” helps keep up with social conversations, competitor activities, trends and brand mentions that is happening around your company/product. You can set your Stream to display posts containing some keywords, hashtags. You can also reply to these conversations directly from Hootsuite.
4. Analytics
Using Hootsuite’s Analytics feature, you can get a complete understanding of how effective your social media campaign is. The tool monitors click, traffic, engagement etc., across all your preferred platforms and reports them in a clear series of charts. Hootsuite also offers a wide range of monitoring and reporting tools that let you make printable, professional-looking reports on the progress of your company’s social media.
Overall, there’s a lot to like about Hootsuite. This social media tool is user- friendly, efficient, and packed with features that can help you to better manage your accounts and grow your online presence.
