With over 217 million daily active users, Twitter, a microblogging network launched in 2006, is one of the most well-known social media firms in the world. Millions of people rely on Twitter for the most recent news, and it gives activists, journalists, and media outlets the ability to share and break stories.
Like other social media platforms, Twitter releases updates to maintain the user experience. It has also introduced new features this year, some of which are already in testing.
What is an “Edit Tweet? great question. After a tweet has been published, users can edit it using the Edit Tweet function. Consider it a brief window of time to correct typos, add missing tags, and other things.
For this test, tweets can be modified a few times within the first 30 minutes of going live.
Users of Twitter Blue, the subscription service currently accessible in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the US, will be the first to have access to the functionality.
2. Podcasts in Space
Twitter is continuing to support audio creators by integrating podcasts into Spaces, where audio conversations take place on Twitter. They started with a revamped audio experience in the Spaces Tab in order to accomplish this in an easy and intuitive manner that enables listeners to simply push play and go.
With this update, personalised hubs are included, which organise audio content into categories like news, music, sports, and more. Now that Spaces are available both live and on demand, Twitter listeners will have easier access to a more personalised selection of Spaces discussing the subjects that are most important to them.
3. Twitter Blue
Twitter launched Twitter Blue in 2021 as a premium monthly membership service, although it has not yet expanded outside of the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. As per the latest update, customers receive special premium features and app customizations, such as different themes, bookmarking options, and an Undo button that allows users to cancel tweeting after 30 seconds.
According to Twitter, memberships are non-refundable, but subscribers receive specialised help for issues related to their subscriptions. Additionally, Twitter Blue is not ad-free, but it does have a function that enables users to view content on websites in the Twitter Blue network without being interrupted by advertisements.
