How to Make Rainbow Text on Instagram

Want to have a little more fun with your Instagram Stories and Reels? Did you know that you can create a rainbow, or gradient colour effect on ANY text in Instagram Stories or Reels?

To create this beautiful gradient effect, open Instagram Stories or Reels and type out your message, then tap on your text and “Select All.”

While your text is highlighted, press and hold one finger on any colour from the palette (below). This will open the complete colour spectrum.

Now – here comes the tricky part!

With one finger on the colour slider palette, and one on the highlighted text, drag both fingers TO THE LEFT OF THE SCREEN.

TADA! You’ve created a fun and nifty rainbow!
