Situation
Since 2022, JBC has partnered with the Kingston Economic Development Corporation to provide ongoing digital marketing support, working closely with both the Marketing Manager and CEO to support strategic communications and visibility.
Strategy
Throughout the partnership, JBC has led the online rebrand and consolidation of the organization’s social media presence, including the transition and merging of key accounts under the new brand identity.
Through ongoing collaboration, including regular communication, bi-weekly calls, and quarterly planning meetings, JBC manages content scheduling and publishing across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, and Threads. The team also supports timely communications needs through the rapid execution of priority posts and announcements.
In addition, JBC develops and manages paid digital campaigns across Meta, LinkedIn, and YouTube to increase awareness and engagement for key events, initiatives, and programming. JBC also monitors the digital landscape to identify and track brand mentions and relevant online conversations.
Finally, Jennifer is responsible for delivering “Digital Marketing Essentials,” a monthly, in-person workshop focused on developing essential marketing skills for entrepreneurs and small business owners.
Results
Since the beginning of the partnership, JBC has significantly increased the organization’s online visibility and audience engagement across key social media platforms. Facebook Likes increased by 273%, Instagram followers grew by 631%, and the LinkedIn Company Page audience increased by 176%.
These results reflect the success of a consistent content strategy, timely communications, targeted paid advertising campaigns, and ongoing audience engagement across multiple digital channels.
