Aboriginal Tourism Ontario: First Annual Business Tourism Conference

The Great Spirit Circle Trail has been working extensively since 2010 to develop Aboriginal Tourism Ontario and we are pleased to host our first annual Aboriginal Tourism Conference at Casino Rama in Southern Ontario at Rama First Nation. As Aboriginal tourism continues to grow within the Province there will be a focus on all sectors in addition to cultural tourism products in order to provide strong economic gain for Aboriginals.
The ATO Tourism Conference will bring together Aboriginal tourism participants from across the province, including stakeholders, partners and associations. It will provide networking opportunities for participants, allowing them to forge partnerships and learn from each other. The conference will host plenary sessions that will be topical and will assist members with their businesses and tourism goals.

This session will discuss the benefits associated with small tourism businesses implementing social media tools and tactics. Highlighting real-life examples from popular platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Instagram, the session will utilize positive examples from local small tourism-related businesses.
